Edit Schedule - Special - Open/Close Courier

Micronet uses the estimated closing times of couriers to determine the priority of couriers in the Warehouse Scheduler. That is, slips are picked in accordance with the remaining open couriers. Courier closing times are entered in the Courier master file – see "Adding a New Courier".

Use this option to close couriers manually. You can also use it to reopen a courier you have closed.

To open or close a courier:

1. Open the Warehouse Scheduler.

Refer to "Displaying the Warehouse Scheduler".

2. Select EDIT SCHEDULE | SPECIAL | OPEN/CLOSE COURIER.

Micronet displays the Open/Close Couriers screen.

3. To close a courier:

• Enter the ID of the courier you want to close in the Close Courier field or press Enter to select a courier.
• Select the Close button.

Micronet closes the courier and redisplays the Warehouse Scheduler.

4. To reopen a courier you have closed, select the Open button.

Micronet reopens the courier and redisplays the Warehouse Scheduler.
